Gondola Ride – $62 per person
Enjoy a relaxing gondola ride with music along the famous Grand Canal, and experience a piece of Venetian history. Glide along the centuries old canals, past lavish palaces and under famous arched bridges (the Gondola holds a maximum of six passengers. Please note that this is not a private gondola ride. There will be one musician on board of one of the gondolas in your fleet).
Cinque Terre – $99 per person
Today, travel to the spectacular Cinque Terre, one of the most beautiful areas of the Liguria region. Here, the five small villages of Rio Maggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza & Monte Rosso are all part of the Cinque Terre National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your tour will include a visit to at least two of these spectacular villages, nestled in the cliffs overlooking the sea and the surrounding hillsides. This active trip covers a fair amount of ground. Expect from three to four hours walking where you will encounter some uneven surfaces, stairs, steps and significant slopes. Trains and/or boats will be the means of transportation.

Siena – $89 per person
Enjoy a tour of the medieval city of Siena, site of the famous Horserace of Palio. This traditional race takes place each year on July 2nd and August 16th, and runs in celebration of the holy apparition and assumption of the Virgin Mary, patron saint of the city. Tour Campo Square and St. Dominic’s Church before returning to Montecatini. Pick-up details to be advised locally.
Capri – $120 per person
You’ll travel by high speed ferry across the Bay of Naples to this big giant rock of an Island boasting even larger cliffs dropping straight into the sea and even more beautiful views. Once on the island the tour you’ll tour the islands highest point, Anacapri. Then you’ll visit the islands main piazza where you may browse and shop the boutiques. The tour also includes a visit to the Gardens of Augustus, towards the top of the island, a natural paradise, from where you can see splendid views of the sea and the famous Faraglioni rock formations, one of the island’s natural wonders. After a lovely day in Capri, return to enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

The Venice, Tuscany, Amalfi Coast tour journeys from north to south where you’ll experience Italy’s rich scenery, art, culture, food and wine! The escorted Venice, Tuscany, Amalfi Coast tours begins with a guided tour of Venice revealing its historic treasures. Then on to Tuscany where you’ll visit Lucca and Florence while staying in the spa town of Montecatini. In Tuscany there are two optional tours. One day is excursion to Siena and San Gimignano. The other is to visit Cinque Terre on the Ligurian Coast.
After Tuscany your Venice Tuscany Amalfi Coast tours package travels further south from Tuscany to Sorrento. There you’ll visit the Amalfi Coast where you’ll witness its breathtaking scenery. On your free day take an optional tour to Capri. Depending on departure date you’ll stay in lively Naples or the resort town Sorrento.

DAY 3 – Venice City Tour
Today your Italy tour begins in Venice with a boat ride to the Island of Murano, known throughout the world for its fine glasswork industry. Then, visit St. Mark’s Square to begin a guided walking tour of romantic Venice. View the Golden Basilica of San Marco, the Bridge of Sighs and the Doge’s Palace, whose facade features a massive late-Gothic gate, known as the Porta della Carta. Take the remainder of the day to explore Venice on your own.

DAY 4 – Lucca Sightseeing En Route to Montecatini
Travel through the stunning panorama of Tuscany to Lucca, one of Italy’s finest medieval cities. Walk the narrow streets of the original Roman grid to San Michele and its beautiful piazza, which occupies the site of the ancient Roman Forum. Lucca’s main piazza is round rather than square and is considered one of the most beautiful in Italy. After Lucca your Venice Tuscany Amalfi Coast tours package continues traveling through Tuscany to the spa town of Montecatini. DAY 7 – Excursion to Florence
Today, travel to Florence, birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. Upon arrival, walk to the magnificent Duomo celebrated for its magnificent dome designed by Brunelleschi, and view the Baptistery’s renowned “Gates of Paradise” by Ghiberti. From here continue to the open-air museum of Signoria Square, ending at the splendid Ponte Vecchio, also known as the “Old Bridge”. Return to Montecatini and enjoy dinner at your hotel.

DAY 8 – Travel to Southern Italy with lunch in the beautiful hills outside Rome
This morning you’ll depart Montecatini and by luxury motor coach you will travel to the lively Italian city Naples (Saturday departures) or the southern Italy resort town Sorrento (Wednesday departures). Along the trip from Tuscany to Southern Italy you’ll stop for an included lunch in the hills outside Rome in the region of Lazio. From Sorrento or Naples you’ll enjoy glorious views of Mt Vesuvius and the Bay of Naples.

DAY 9 – The Gorgeous Amalfi Drive

Today you have a day in Sorrento or Naples to enjoy these southern Italian destinations. Or you may enjoy an optional tour to the Isle of Capri. If you decide to take the day at leisure there is plenty to do whether staying in Sorrento or Naples. From Sorrento you may opt to visit Pompeii. Pompeii is a short train ride away. In Naples you may want to visit the Naples Archaeology museum, where you’ll find all the priceless artifacts from Pompeii, Herculaneum and from when the ancient Greeks inhabited the area before the Ancient Romans.
